Spaghetti: for this recipe we use spaghetti , however, you can substitute any pasta you have on hand. Short pasta like shells or penne will also work perfectly as alternatives.
Shrimp: You can use fresh or frozen shrimp, you need to remove the shell but leave the tail intact, also don`t forget to remove the dark vein on the back of shrimps, give them a thorough rinse under cold running water
Cooking cream: Cooking cream transforms pasta sauce into a burst of flavor, creaminess, and richness.
Onion: it adds delicious depth of flavor to any dish and it enhance the taste, simply every dish taste better with onions.
Bell Pepper: enhances the dish with it´s lively color, delicious taste, and a boost of vitamin C to the dish.

And then add 1 – 1/2 tbsp of salt, as salt will enhance the flavor.
Then add the pasta to the salt boiling water, and stir it gently.
Also, a little reminder don`t forget to check the package for the recommended cooking time.
As you cook the pasta, it´s important to stir it to ensure that it doesn´t stick together or clump up.
Use a long spoon or pasta fork to lift and separate the pasta strands, which allows it to cook evenly and beautifully.

- 200 g Pasta
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 medium onions
- 200 g shrimps
- half red bell pepper
- Coriander
- 2 tbs bell pepper paste or Pesto
- 150g tomato paste
- 200 g cooking cream
For Seasoning You Need:
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon mix seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- To achieve perfectly cooked pasta, start by measuring out 0.5 pounds (200 g) of your favorite pasta. Fill a large pot with 2 liters of water, ensuring there’s enough space for the pasta to move freely as it cooks.
- Bring water to a boil, and add Salt to your water before adding pasta.
- Add 0.5 pounds or 200g of pasta, as soon as the water boils, and the salt dissolves, carefully stir gently.
- Stir often after adding your pasta from sticking to itself or sticking together.
- Follow the instructions for the pasta you are using and cook it as directed.
- After it`s done cooking, drain immediately, you could also lightly rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process and refresh the flavors. It´s not necessary but if you desire you can do it 🙂
A little Secret:
Note: For every 1lB (453g) of pasta, 4 liters of water is recommended Note: for every 1lB (453g) of pasta, it`s recommended to use 4 liters of water. This ratio will help ensure optimal cooking results by allowing the pasta to float freely, preventing it from sticking together and ensuring that each piece cooks evenly and thoroughly.
Step2: Cook the Shrimp Sauce
1: Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced onions and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes, or until they achieve a golden brown color and become tender.
This process enhances the flavor and aroma of the dish.
2: Once you have cooked the onions, add the shrimp and give them a quick saute for about 50 seconds over low heat.
3: Now add the seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon mix seasoning, and 1/4 teaspoon salt Do not add salt if you are using salted pasta water.and saute for another 30 seconds.
4: After that add bell pepper paste and tomato paste, stir thoroughly, and then add the diced bell pepper and cilantro.
5: Then add 1 cup of the reserved pasta water into the sauce.
This addition will enhance the creaminess of the sauce and help to gently loosen the shrimp sauce, and cook it for 9 minutes.
6: Lastly for a real creamier texture add the creamer and cook it another 3 minutes with a low heat.
